S09 Water Project

This project was done with Aaron Chenault as a group project for 48-105 Architecture Design Studio.

We were tasked with displacing a quart of water in a manor that displays the property of water and has an installation piece quality to it. In a week this is what we came up with. The foam middle and top were milled out of insulation foam with a CnC router, and painted black. Tubing and wire were hung between the layers and metal was suspended at the bottom to provide sound. We achieved a strong audio quality that we were quite pleased with.

Every group is required to post their video to youtube, so once I find them I’ll add a few here to show the work everyone else did, there were some really great projects done.
